Nestled on the Kintyre Peninsula, Campbeltown greeted me with its picturesque harbor lined with charming boats and historic buildings. The town’s maritime heritage is evident everywhere, from the bustling waterfront to the fascinating Campbeltown Museum, which showcases the area’s unique blend of Gaelic culture and maritime history. Walking through the streets, I was captivated by the blend of old-world charm and modern amenities, with cozy cafes, quaint shops, and friendly locals eager to share their stories.
